The grandson of a master painter and the king of party glamour, Roberto Cavalli studied at the Florence Institute of Art before making a splash in the early '70s when Brigitte Bardot wore his creations in St Tropez. His flamboyant aesthetic is stamped across the brand's beachwear, footwear and accessories, but it's his billowing silk gowns and body-con dresses in bold block colors and larger-than-life prints that continue to steal the spotlight.
